May 25 EPS VLN Posting: What are the best aspects of being a teacher?
Kirsty Lyndon ReidSeeing children's faces when they get something they have been struggling with -however small that thing may be
Jeanette Hinerangi Eruera Murphy1. Whanaungatanga in the classroom, within E.P.S and beyond 2. Mahi Ako - learning alongside our learners 3. Knowing that I'm M.A.D (just like the rest of my fellow colleagues)...making a difference that is...or at least attempting to...in the engagement and learning of our tamariki
Kirsty Lyndon ReidPhew was starting to think it was supposed to be a "think about it" thing not a "write it down for everyone to see" thing!!!
Jeanette Hinerangi Eruera MurphyNice to see you contribute Kirsty. Hopefully others will join us and share too Lesa Lafaelle 'Developing Relationships' in our class, in terms of 'I care' towards each other and helping our newbies settle in
Lesa LafaelleThat was today... Can i have the same question tomorrow to confirm today!?! Lol
Brett WhareweraNice one guys, Learning and growing together through all our learning experiences. Like whaea, knowing I'm making a difference in children's life's.
Joelle WalkerEnabling kids to the point where they want to do the learning not because they have to ::) but mostly making a difference however big or small. Sometimes we don't' know till years later if this was so. Also I love the lifelong connections that teaching provides in all its different faces. I know that I am stronger because of the people I work with and the experiences I have had. I love this job we do.
Susan OlivierHere goes Jeanette...Teaching for me is about giving, understanding, respecting, inspiring, strengthening, having faith, showing kindness and love, making learning fun for tamariki and kaiako, saving a tamariki, for the future and above all having the courage to keep going through all the challenges.
