Teachers Matter Conference
Date: January 2013 (School Holidays)
Making a Difference is the theme for the 2013 Teachers Matter conference, acknowledging the role teachers play in developing caring, confident, connected, contributing citizens of the 21st century. The conference is a mix of personal and professional development for educators. It includes keynote presentations and practical strategy workshops provided by Lane Clark, Maggie Dent, Karen Boys, Michael Grose, Mike Walsh, Stephen Francis and Marion Miller. Thirteen staff members from E.P.S are travelling to Sydney for the conference.
"It is an opportunity for us all to think and re-think our teaching and learning direction using a team approach, reaffirm the many things we already know, bridge the gap between holiday mode and life in the classroom and time for us to bond with other like-minded colleagues as we face the year ahead together" - Tristan B.
